Hi everyone! I am so excited to welcome you to our classroom page. Whether you are taking your very first steps in Spanish or polishing the language you are already learning or grew up speaking at home, I am thrilled to be your teacher this year. ¡Nos espera un año maravilloso lleno de aprendizaje!

I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Teaching, language, and understanding people have always been my passions. I earned my first degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, and later returned there to complete my Master’s degree in Education and Spanish. I lived and worked in Corpus Christi for many years before moving to San Antonio, where I’ve proudly lived for the past three years—I absolutely love this city!

When I’m not in the classroom, I am spending time with my wonderful family. I am blessed with a loving husband, two amazing children, and three energetic grandkids who bring so much joy to my life.

Spanish 1: A fun introduction to foundational vocabulary, basic conversation, and vibrant Spanish-speaking cultures. ¡Un excelente comienzo!

Spanish for Spanish Speakers: Tailored for heritage speakers to sharpen formal writing, expand reading skills, and celebrate cultural identity.

Spanish 3 & 3 Honors: An immersive, fast-paced dive into spontaneous speaking, authentic texts, and advanced grammar to prepare you for fluent communication and AP-level Spanish.

Don't be afraid to make mistakes! Learning a language takes practice and patience, and our classroom is a safe space to try.
