Angel Raygoza - Orchestra Director

Hi! My name is Angel Raygoza, the Orchestra Director at Davenport High School. I am also the Orchestra Director at Danville Middle School, our feeder school.

 

I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor's in Music Education in 2021. All throughout university, I was also a part of the TXST String Project, where I taught orchestra in a class setting and through private lessons to students from age 8 to 16. After graduating, I worked in Austin ISD for a couple of years before joining the Wolf Pack in 2023.

 

As a teacher, my goal is to not only share my passion for music, but to help my students grow into problem solvers and independent learners. Through music, we learn skills such as collaboration and communication as we put on performance after performance for ourselves and our community.
